I was well into my former professional career when everything I'd known, to many degrees, had suddenly fallen apart. It was during that dark period of time that I realized that I had a relatively poor vision of who I really was. After university and despite experiencing success in the corporate world, I always felt like something was missing.
Deep down, I knew that I needed to transform my life, but I wasn't sure where to begin, nor did I have a real concept of how to achieve this. My new journey began with a simple desire to change.
Transformation certainly did not happen overnight.
I had to get to know myself better, and then do the work.
Gaining self awareness meant gaining a firmer grasp on my values and belief systems. To begin the framework for my new life, I committed to evolve and strengthen myself mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
For the next several years, I got down to basics and chose to face my shadows and struggles head-on. I drew from my personal struggles and personal history, and used it as a jumping-off point. My work as an artist taught me that patterned sound and colour directly influenced thoughts and emotions. As an empath and former corporate consultant, I felt naturally wired to tune in to others. Ever since childhood, my dream recall was detailed, vivid, and thick with all kinds of symbolic, precognitive messaging. And as someone who's always been fascinated with how much math and science is embedded into our natural world, I knew that energy was the common thread. I spent hundreds of hours in and out of the classroom learning about different facets of psychotherapy, personal development and becoming a Reiki Master, Life Coach and Mindfulness coach. Through the arduous process of healing myself first, I discovered the "gold" in the form of love by way of vulnerability and courage.
What started out as personal work has evolved into a passion project to others experience the same. Now that I'm more in tuned with the rhythms of the universe than I've ever been before, I fully embrace my unique senses and heightened awareness. Just as love has no bounds, I know that our expansion and learning never ends.
Without a shadow of a doubt, I'm meant to serve others in the world of spiritual healing, paying it continually forward.
